Coolangatta, Australia |
I’m at home in bed ill… but I’m daydreaming of being at the beach. So here is a post from there I’d rather be…
While spending the winter in Europe, I often found myself daydreaming of warm summer days on the beach. Naturally the first place I headed on my arrival back to Australia were my favourite beaches at Coolangatta – Rainbow Bay, Greenmount and Snapper Rocks. There were a lot of stingers in the water that day, and after having a little run in with one I decided not to go for a swim… I am eagerly awaiting to get back in these waters next summer.
This favourite floaty top is from one of my favourite clients – Naudic. The seed and shell beads my dad brought home from the Pacific Islands, and Solillas sandals I picked up in London in anticipation of summer. Solillas sandals are traditionally crafted Balearic sandals that Carlos and his team make by hand in his family’s factory in the small Menorcan town of Ferreries…they remind me of relaxing and exploring on warm days in the Mediterranean.
