Coolum, Australia |
Moments floating and drifting with the cool currents. Surrendering to the ocean. Watching the twinkles, ebbs and flows of the water. Shades of blue and green always changing. Cleansing outside and in.
I hadn’t been to Coolum in a couple of years. Last time I went was when my friend Lena and I spent a Summer visiting a different beach every other weekend. This time I went with my family over the Easter break. My dad loves the ocean as much as I do. Coolum has always been one of my favourite swimming beaches. The waves can often be just right.
It’s still a beautiful as ever here. I wish it were a little closer. I hope it always stays this way. Free from high rises and more of a local community than the commercialisation of the Gold Coast beaches.
Drenched in vitamin sea. And then of course sunshine lazing, thai food and gelato before a sunset drive back home.
